Urbandale Dance Studio and Gymnastics Club (UDSGC) opened in 1984.  It was a single proprietorship started by Candy and Ron WInters.  The Club had 50 students it's first year of operation.  In 1992 the club was expanded from 5,000 square feet to 8,000 square feet to add a pre-school gym, an office area, a pro-shop and a waiting area.  In 1994 the club incorporated with the service of 800 plus students in a 12 month period.  Candace A. WInters became the President and Ronald A. WInters became Vice President. 

In 1987 UDSGC started its first competitive gymnastics program, which we are members of the United States Gymnastics Federation.  Our competitive USTA Tumbling program was started in 1990.  1993 brought UDSGC its first dance recital featuring over 50 dancers.  Our All-Star Cheerleading program was develop in 2001 and now services close to 100 cheerleaders.

Our program goal is to develop each child in the way they want to learn dance, gymnastics, tumbling and cheerleading; recreationally or competitively.  We have the largest club in the Metro and have been here for 18 years.  Our 20,000 square foot facility is specially designed for children's fitness.  We provide classes in dance, martial arts, gymnastics, tumbling  cheerleading and specialty parties.
